Refund policy
Liability for subsequent defects
- We will repair or replace Goods which fail to comply with the provisions of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 or which shows a defect. If you claim that the item is defective, the following conditions apply:
- The defect must be reported to us within [four weeks] of becoming apparent;
- The defect results only from faulty design or manufacture;
- You have returned the defective Goods or parts to us if we have so requested;
- If we agree that we are liable, we will refund the cost of return carriage and will repair or replace the Goods free of charge.
- If we repair or replace the Goods, you have no additional claim against us either under this agreement or by statute or common law, in respect of the defect.
Refunds and goods returned
These provisions apply in the event that you return any Goods to us for any reason:
- We do not provide refunds, or accept returns unless there was a defect in the Goods at the time of purchase, or we have agreed in correspondence that you may return them.
- The Goods must be returned to us as soon as any defect is discovered but not later than [15 days].
- So far as possible, Goods should be returned:
- With both Goods and all packaging as far as possible in their original condition;
- Securely wrapped;
- Including our delivery slip;
- At your risk and cost.
- You must tell us by sending an email to us via our enquiry form that you would like to return Goods, specifying exactly what Goods and when purchased, and giving full details of the defect or other reason for return. We will then issue a returns note. If you send Goods to us without a returns note, we may not be able to identify sufficient details to enable us to attend to your complaint.
- In returning faulty Goods please enclose with it a note clearly stating the fault and when it arises or arose.
- Most of the Goods are covered by the manufacturer's guarantee for a minimum of 12 months.
- If delivery was made to Australian address, you are also protected by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
- If we agree that the Goods are faulty, we will:
- refund the cost of return carriage;
- repair or replace the Goods as we choose.
We do not offer refunds on sale items or if you simply change your mind.
You must claim your return within 30 days from date of purchase, by sending email to us via our enquiry form, with a receipt for proof of purchase and setting out the grounds for your claim.
We will respond within 7 days. If you are eligible for a return we will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted
If you are eligible for a return, we will refund you the purchase price. If the problem is not major, we reserve the right to repair the item within a reasonable timeframe and send it back to you. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.
Change of Mind Exchanges
Whilst we do not offer refunds if you change your mind or require different sizing, we do allow exchanges or store credit on these items, so long as they comply with the following:
- Change of mind / sizing exchanges are not available on swimwear, intimate items, gift cards or sale items.
- For a change-of-mind or sizing exchange, shipping to return the item to the store, and shipping of the replacement item to the customer is the responsibility of the customer.
To be eligible for a change-of-mind or sizing return, you must claim your return within 30 days from date of purchase, by sending email to us via our enquiry form, with a receipt for proof of purchase and your request for either a different size or store credit.
We will respond within 7 days. If you are eligible for a return, you will be required to send the item/s back to the store at your expense. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note, if the original order was postage free, a $20.00 fee will be deducted from your refund for original postage & handling.
Store Credit Returns:
If you are eligible for a return, we will credit your account with the purchase price of your item/s. Please note, a $20 fee will be deducted from your store credit for original postage and handling. This fee will also be payable if the original order was over $150 with free postage.
Exchanges:
If you are eligible for an exchange, you may either:
- send a self-addressed prepaid satchel with your returned item of an adequate size & weight allowance for us to pack the replacement item, OR
- opt to receive an invoice for the return shipping charge which must be paid before we dispatch the exchanged item.
